Position:
PRN Pharmacist at LOS Community Pharmacy #1-Cut Off
Purpose:
Maintain and operate all aspects of the Pharmacy Department in the absence of the Pharmacist-in-Charge. This includes following state and federal laws, hospital policies, and use of good common sense when dispensing medicine and devices for use on patients.
Qualifications:
  1. BS in Pharmacy
  2. Licensed by the State of Louisiana.
  3. Computer knowledge.
  4. Basic typing skills.
  5. Ability to tolerate a great number of phone interruptions throughout workday.
  6. Current CPR certification required.
  7. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  8. Possesses positive customer service skills.
Working Conditions:
  1. Employee will be lifting and carrying up to 25% of the day.
  2. Employee will be sitting 10% of the day.
  3. Employee will be standing and walking 45% of the day.
  4. Employee will be twisting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending 10% of the day.
  5. Employee will be reaching at or above shoulder level 10% of the day.
